All Gambling Eyes Will Be On Palmer Monday Night
The Cincinnati Bengals were a popular pick last year for gamblers around the world, however, Carson Palmer's season ending injury in the 2005 playoffs has many charting his return Monday night.
In 2005, gamblers from around the world rode Carson Palmer's breakout season all the way to the bank, as the Bengals were a highly bet on team last year.
Now all eyes will be on Palmer as he returns to the field Monday night for the first time since he injured his knee in the playoffs last year against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Not only will the success of the team hinge on Palmer's performance, but also his health will be a major factor in Vegas determining his teams over/under for team wins for the year and also for odds on the Bengals winning their division and conference.
Coach Marvin Lewis believes Palmer will be just fine in his first action in eight months, "He's not peanut brittle out there. This is a big strapping person. He's going to be fine."
The Bengals are scheduled to play the Green Bay Packers this Monday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
