American Idol Preview: Gambling Odds Against Mercado And Castro

The American Idol competition appears to be a two man race, according to some fans of the show. Tuesday night, the show once again takes the spotlight with the final four performing.

Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro will be the ones people will most likely be focusing on. They must have out of this world performances if they want to stay another week.

David Cook and David Archuleta seem destined to meet in the finale, but as past years have shown, the favorites do not always survive. They must steer clear of mistakes to avoid coming back to the pack.

With only four contestants left, every little piece of their performances will be magnified. One slip up at this point, and it could be off of the live shows, and on to the tour.

Cook and Archuleta have been nearly flawless throughout the competition. Both have wowed the judges and have won over legions of fans across America.

Mercado and Castro have taken different roads to the final four. They both have been in the bottom two. Mercado, so much, in fact, that she has been in five bottom groups in a row, yet she still has survived.

The show goes live again tonight, and with each contestant singing for their competition lives, the performances are surely to heat up.
