AMZ Holdings Looking To Expand Casino Options In Asia

The United States used to be the gambling center of the world. Las Vegas, in particular, was a city that people flew from all across the world to visit. Their casinos were second to none.

That is not the case anymore. With Macau overtaking Las Vegas as the gambling capital of the world, the focus of casino companies has shifted to the other side of the world.

Las Vegas casino companies have opened casinos in Macau, and they are not planning on stopping there. While American states are expanding their casino options, so are countries in Asia.

Taiwan is getting ready to have their first casino. AMZ Holdings Plc is the developer lucky enough to bring that casino to life. All indications are that AMZ is not going to stop in Taiwan.

Reports have surfaced that claim that AMZ may raise $100 million in their efforts to expand their casino offerings in Asia. That seems like a large amount of money at a time when other companies are slowing their expansion efforts due to the economy.

"Right now there's a proliferation of gaming in Asia that's extremely attractive to us. Unlike the U.S. which is largely saturated, Asia is seeing an expansion of gaming," said Chief Executive Officer of AMZ, Michael Treanor.
