Voted Top Online Casino Several Years in a Row!

A successful casino executive whose career disintegrated over his gambling addiction took another step in his rehabilitation yesterday, with New Jersey gambling regulators clearing him to become a vice president for Resorts Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Hilton.

Gary DiBartolomeo, 51, of Margate, was granted a temporary casino key employee license, the highest level of license in New Jersey's regulatory system, pending completion of a background investigation by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement. He can now work as a vice president of national marketing for the two casinos, having kicked the habit that cost him his $362,000-a-year job as president of Caesars Atlantic City Hotel Casino five years ago.

The state Casino Control Commission, which voted, 5-0, to grant the license, must give formal approval once the background investigation is finished. "I know they will find Gary has been a model citizen, both as far as his gaming career is concerned and outside the job," said Lloyd D. Levenson, his attorney.

"There has not been any issue at all with regard to staying away from gambling. "Known to high-rolling gamblers and casino bigwigs as "Gary DiBart," DiBartolomeo rose through the ranks as a player development executive whose engaging personality and knowledge of the casino business helped him woo big-time bettors to the gambling halls.
