Caesars Casino Skimpy Dress Uniform Upsetting Some Women Workers
Part of what happens when there is a takeover in the casino industry, is a new look for both the casino and the employees. Casino Windsor in Ontario is undergoing some of these changes.
The casino will fall under the Caesars brand in June. Several women workers are not happy with the choice for their new uniforms at the casino.
"I feel it's inappropriate. I'm not putting down the casino because I enjoy working there. I just feel showing half my body is inappropriate," said one worker.
The new outfit consists of a cream colored dress, with panties that were specifically designed for the outfit. While some women were upset with the skimpiness of the new uniforms, others were pleased.
"I think the uniforms are hot. I'm excited to wear them, I think I will get better tips because of them," said a girl we will refer to as "Tammy", who did not want to be identified.
The uniforms might not yet be the final product. The workers union, CAW Local 444, is planning to sit down on behalf of their women members and speak with Caesars about the uniforms. It is not yet determined whether that meeting will persuade the company to change the outfits.
