Caesars Palace Gambling On iPhone Application For Customer Check-In
Caesars Palace and other Las Vegas casino resorts are always looking for ways to keep up with the times. In January, Caesars Palace will launch a new iPhone application designed to make traveling easier.
The Internet has opened up many doors for casino operators on ways to communicate with possible customers. The iPhone has taken that notion to another level with iPhone applications. The latest application from Caesars will allow customers to check-in without having to wait on lines.
In order to use this application, travelers will have needed to book their stay online. Once booked, the travelers will receive a text message the day before they are supposed to arrive. At that point, guests will have the opportunity to hit a check-in button.
If that option is chosen, the guests will be able to use their confirmation number to go directly past the check-in counter at Caesars. It is another way that Las Vegas casinos are making it easier for customers in the hopes of bringing people back to the city.
The Las Vegas casino industry has been hit hard by the economic conditions in the US and around the world over the past two years. Casinos in Las Vegas have experienced double digit declines in revenue for many of the these months.
For Caesars customers, once they have used the automatic text message check-in option, they need to only present their identification upon reaching the facility to obtain their key.
