Casinos Around The United States Catching Up To Las Vegas
It must be hard for Las Vegas casinos to sit around and watch what is going on in the United States. It is like coming up with a good idea, and then watching other people get rich on that idea.
Other state around the country have now caught up to Las Vegas when it comes to casino gambling. They may not have the glamorous background that Vegas has, but they certainly have the casinos.
Thirty seven states now have some form of casinos in their states. That number has grown drastically over the past several years. With the economy at an all time low, states are looking for any ways to help out their budgets.
Casino gambling and advanced games for their state lotteries are the two solutions that have been used most in the past decade. Individual states are changing their gambling laws almost daily to try and get in on the money that casinos can bring.
Of course, it is Las Vegas that is feeling the ne4gative effects of all of this casino expansion. The casinos in Vegas are experiencing sharp declines in revenue numbers, and with the current state of the economy, those numbers are projected to only get worse.
People are no longer traveling to fill their recreational gambling needs. They may not have the row of casino options that Las Vegas offers, but one or two casinos are good enough when it saves on gas or airfare.
Once the floodgates have opened, it will only get worse. Las Vegas may never be what it once was, and the rest of the country is seeing the benefits of Sin City's decline.
