Voters in the state of Ohio have spoken, and their message was clear. Casino gambling is something that has now been accepted, and the next step is for the developers to bring the casinos to life.

Four major cities, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo, will all receive new gambling establishments. In Cincinnati, developers are expecting to break ground at the Broadway Commons site in the summer of 2010.

Their goal is to have the casino bring the entire community to life. They are not seeking to separate the new casino from the rest of society, instead, the developers want it to be a trigger for economic growth in the area.

"We don't want this to be an enclave where you pull in, a valet parks your car, you see your car in four hours, you get in and leave," said Matthew Cullen, President of Rock ventures, the group responsible for bringing the casino to Cincinnati.

The goal of Cullen and the rest of the group is for the casino to be easily accessible from all areas. The development team is also excited about the amount of jobs that will come out of the project.

Early estimations are that over 5,000 jobs will be created between the permanent employment and the construction jobs that will become available. The entire state project of the four casinos is expected to bring over 30,000 new jobs to the people of Ohio.
