Emeril Lagasse Bringing Chop House To Sands Bethlehem Casino
People in the Northeast had better start preparing for the arrival of one of the most well known chefs in the world. Emeril Lagasse is bringing his flair to Bethlehem with the help of the Las Vegas Sands Corp.
Lagasse and Sands have partnered before. The highly regarded chef has Table 10 at the Palazzo and Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, both in Las Vegas. Now the partners are bringing Emeril's Chop House to the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.
"We are honored that Chef Lagasse has chosen to open his first Northeast restaurant at our new casino and entertainment destination," said Sands Bethlehem President Robert DeSalvio, "Sands Bethlehem will feature a variety of unique experiences that we believe will annually attract millions of visitors from across the region, and Emeril's Chop House is sure to be a highlight for them."
Lagasse said in a telephone interview with the Associated Press that he is looking to build a relationship with the local Bethlehem community. The chef plans on keeping his restaurant around for a long time.
The restaurant will be located on the casino property, and Lagasse has kept that in mind when designing the menu and layout. The dress code will be casual, and the menu will be top of the line.
A fresh daily catch dish will be available and also prime dry aged beef dishes. A few of Lagasse's famous "New New Orleans" dishes will also be on the menu, to go along with dishes that contain regional ingredients.
