FireKeepers Casino Drawing Large Crowds In Michigan
Sure, Michigan and Ohio State will dominate the sports world in a couple of months, but for the rest of the summer, Michigan residents will be focused on one thing. The long-awaited FireKeepers Casino has opened in Battle Creek.
The casino is one in which residents of Michigan have been waiting. The owners of the casino have thrown hundreds of millions of dollars into the project, and already they are seeing the returns on that money.
"we have everything that you would want to find," said Marketing Director for FireKeepers, Michael Facenda, "We have all the denominations that customers are looking for. We have some of the newer technology games. We are ticket in, ticket out facility here. I think any slot player is going to find exactly what they're looking for."
O.K., so that is what the marketing director things, but what about people that have actually played at the casino? Surprisingly, they feel the same way, that the casino will be a big success.
"People have been waiting a long time for this casino," said patron Valerie Caruso, "if they continue to show the dedication to their customers that they have shown this past week, everyone will be happy."
There are several downfalls to the new casino, one is that they have no hotel rooms. That has not deterred customers, however. Nearby hotels have joined forces with FireKeepers to ensure that anyone who needs a room, has one available.
The first week has been a huge success for FireKeepers, and they are attempting to build on that success. With many dining and entertainment options, the casino looks primed for a long stay in the market.
