Gambling Industry Insider To Head MGM Grand Atlantic City Project
MGM Grand is coming to Atlantic City in a big way. The company is getting ready to open the biggest casino and the biggest hotel in Atlantic City.
This morning, the company gave insight into who will have the duty of running the casino. Bill Hornbuckle, who has been with the company in Las Vegas, will now take on dual roles.
Hornbuckle has been running the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. He is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer at Mandalay Bay. That will be the same post that he will hold with the new Atlantic City casino.
Hornbuckle will have a few years of preparation to do before the casino and hotel will be up and running. It is expected to open sometime in 2012.
The new president will have plenty of experience to draw upon in running the new casino. He has worked for three years as the President of MGM Grand Las Vegas. He also has held that same position at Caesars Palace.
