Gambling Movie "21" On Top At The Box Office
Gambling movies over the years have always been a top box office draw. "Casino", with Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci, is a prime example of how the public loves their gambling movies.
The movie "21" is the latest gambling movie to come out in movie theatres. Judging from the early results, producers have made a good bet on the movie.
The first weekend of the new movie found the flick on the top of the American box office charts. It had ticket returns that were worth $23.7 million.
The film is about a college student who does not have the money necessary, so he is lead by a professor (Kevin Spacey), into the world of gambling on the card game blackjack.

Las Vegas has always had a certain kind of lure, and that, combined with people's curiosity into the world that goes on in Sin City, has always held people's attention in movie theatre's.
"Horton Hears A Who", and "Superhero Movie", were number two and three at the box office.
