Gambling Revenue And Jobs Top Entertainment Industry In Canada

Canada has now gone where other countries will soon follow. Gambling has become the largest revenue maker in the entertainment field in the country.

Gambling is expanding in almost every country. Even in the United States, where the American government is doing its best to keep the online gambling industry down, gambling is thriving.

Individual states have expanded their gambling laws and are now allowing casino gambling in their area. In Canada, the industry has become so big it is the largest employer in the entertainment industry.

"Gaming has grown significantly over the past decade to become an essential pillar of the entertainment industry in Canada," said CEO of the Canadian Gaming Association, William Rutsey.

The gaming industry is helping out big time with the economy. Over 267,000 people are employed by the gambling industry. That is an incredible number. While the number includes anyone with full time jobs that are supported by the gambling industry, it still shows the impact the industry is having in Canada.
