Harrah's Casino Bus Crash Kills Four In Mississippi

A crash on Sunday morning of a Harrah's Casino bus has left four people killed and several others injured. The bus was on its way to the airport in Mississippi when the accident occurred.

The intersection of Casino Center and U.S. Highway 61 in Tunica, Mississippi was the location of the crash that happened on Sunday. The bus was en route to the airport and passengers on the bus were going to catch a flight back to South Carolina.

Forty three people were on the bus and that includes the bus driver. After the accident the injured passengers were brought to one of two facilities, either Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto or Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

The bus overturned on its way to the airport in an area where there were several casinos. The casinos were in the Northwest corner of the state and along the Mississippi River.

It is common for casinos to run shuttles to and from their casino resorts. Travelers can be picked up and dropped off at the airport as part of a service offered by the casino.
