Ivanka Trump to Join Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. Board

The young (25 year old) Ivanka Trump, heiress and daughter of Donald Trump, is currently serving as vice-president of the Trump Organization and now will join the board of directors of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.

The Trump Organization controls Trump hotels, real estate holdings and golf courses. Trump Entertainment Resorts controls the slumping but renowed Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

Ivanka is a graduate of Wharton, one of the nations top business schools, she is a former model and has been at her fathers side on the reality television show 'The Apprentice'.

Before joining the board, Ivanka must receive a license from the Casino Control Commission of New Jersey, at which time investigators will conduct a background check to ensure she has done nothing in the past that may disqualify her.

"She's been outstanding in everything she has done, and she will be an outstanding board member," said Donald Trump.
