Person Jumps From Niagara Falls Casino Parking Garage
Niagara Falls Police say a Florida man who jumped to his death from the top floor of the Seneca Niagara Casino parking garage had been having personal problems, though those problems apparently were not related to gambling.
"There are no gambling related issues that we know about," said Falls Police Captain Ernest Palmer.
"It was a suicide and that closes (the case) for us. "Falls Police Superintendent John Chella said an interview with a friend of the victim, who lives in the Falls, indicated the man had not suffered losses at the casino that might have prompted the suicide.
The victim was at the casino with a friend, who told us that the victim was despondent over personal issues," Chella said. The friend told us the issue had nothing to do with gambling."
