MGM Slowly Opening CityCenter, Casino Gambling Coming Soon

USA Players Accepted at Rome Casino!

MGM Mirage and other Las Vegas-based casino developers are hoping that the new CityCenter project helps bring customers back to Las Vegas. The aria Resort & Casino is the main attraction of CityCenter, and it will open in less than two weeks.

In the meantime, MGM has not left people wondering what the rest of CityCenter will look like. This week, several of the other attractions to CityCenter were opened.

On Monday, the Vdara hotel opened. The hotel has 1,500 rooms, and is expected to attract some of the top high rollers in the world. Later in the week on Thursday, restaurants and shops inside of the Crystals mall were opened.

A smaller hotel, the Mandarin Oriental, opened on Friday night. The Mandarin has over 225 condominiums and almost 400 hotel rooms. The main attraction of the Mandarin is a sky lobby looking out over the Las Vegas Strip on the twenty-third floor.

The casino itself will be opened on Wednesday, December 16th. The project has been in the works for a long time, and MGM is proud that they were able to complete its construction.

For a while over the summer it looked as though the project would be stalled. MGM and their partners, Dubai World, had been in a legal battle. The companies settled their differences, however, and Dubai agreed to resume funding their portion of the CityCenter project.
