New Casino Gambling Cruise Line Coming To Port Canaveral in Florida
Florida appears ready to make a run at Atlantic City in the next ten years. They have began positioning themselves to be the next big gambling destination on the East Coast.
Now word comes of a new cruise line that will be catering to the convention crowd. Las Vegas Cruise Lines has announced that it will begin offering gambling cruises out of Port Canaveral.
Already Port Canaveral is home to SunCruz Casinos and Sterling Casino, two companies that are already offering gambling cruises for people who enjoy their gambling on the high seas.
The Liquid Vegas will be the name of the ship from Las Vegas Cruise Lines. They will cater to a market that manager Larry Mullin believes is currently looked over. "We're going to go after the convention market because we feel that segment is under served," said Mullin.
The ship will be a quaint affair for patrons. It is expected to be able to hold 800 people. The ship will begin sailing in March. The current sailing times are 7:30 P.M. to 12:30 A.M. on Friday and Saturday nights. Day cruises will run from 11:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. seven days a week.
Sunday through Thursday there will also be night cruises running from 7:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.. A special late night cruise will also be offered on Friday and Saturday night. It will run from 1:30 A.M. to 4:30 A.M..
