New Free Bingo Program Coming To Television In UK
Bingo is making a strong push in the online gambling industry. While poker is still the game of choice for many online gamblers around the world, bingo is becoming increasingly popular.
In the UK, the game of bingo is still the most popular game in the country. Now, gamblers will have the chance to play the game for free, on television.
ITV1 has now confirmed that they will be airing Bingo Night Live in place of their Play TV block. The Play TV block has been highly criticized for its play per pay service. ITV has listened to the complaints, and is now bringing the free bingo game to television.
Viewers will be able to download game boards off the website of the show. They then will watch as numbers are called, and if they are a winner, they could win the jackpot.
Melinda Messenger and Michael Underwood will be hosting the show. Messenger will announce occasional 'Magic Number Draws', while Underwood will be the bingo caller. "It's the nation's favorite game and accessible for all-it's good clean fun, nice and easy to play and best of all it's free," said Messenger.
ITV also believes that the game will be a big hit in the UK. "Bingo Night Live will bring a whole new dimension to the nation's favorite game with viewers playing from their homes for no cost at all," said ITV.
The United States had tried an idea similar to this last year. It did not take off as was expected. The UK, however, has an advantage of the game of bingo being much more popular than it is in the United States.
