New Indian Casino And Resort Set to Open Today in Michigan
Odawa Casino Resort will open its doors today to its new casino in Michigan. The resort will be much more than gambling and is set to offer options to spark interest from all different people.
The casino itself which is a $140 million state of the art facility, will have a 46,700 square foot gaming floor. The numbers breakdown is as follows, two roulette tables, 20 blackjack tables, with an additional six blackjack tables in the high limit room, six poker tables, and two craps tables, one of which will be used for tournament play.
There is much more than just gaming at this casino, there is a nightclub named the O Zone, which features a dance floor and individual party pods, that hold up to eight people and comes with a plasma television and a personal fireplace.
Across the way from O Zone is Waas-no-de-, which is a Vegas style buffet which is home to over 100 food offerings and can hold 350 people.
The other food option is Sage, a fine dining restaurant that aspires to be one of the best in the state.
Ovation Hall is also part of the casino, it holds 1000 people for concerts, and 500 people in a sit down setting, which would be weddings or corporate affairs.
Bill Cosby is set to perform at the grand opening, which is currently scheduled for July 25th.
Many parts of the casino will open today, with other areas opening along the way to that grand opening date.
