Oklahoma Set To Unveil Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Monday
This is the sort of grand opening that one would expect to see in Las Vegas, Miami, or somewhere in California. Instead, the opening of the newest Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The state of Oklahoma is not the first one that comes to mind when thinking about big, glitzy casino resorts. The Hard Rock will begin to change that image when it opens to thousands of expected customers. It will be a sight that many in the state have never laid eyes on.
"I have never been to anyplace where there is a Hard Rock, so this will be a cool experience," said Mike Sherman, "I have looked a couple of them up online, and if this one is anything like the others, it will be fun place to hang out."
Among the amenities that Oklahoma residents will be able to enjoy will be a 125,000 square foot casino floor and plenty of nightclubs. There will also be five different high end dining options. McGill's on 19 and I Love This Bar, from Toby Keith, will be two of the dining options.
Entertainment will also be a high priority at the Hard Rock. There will be a 2,500 seat entertainment center, but that venue will not be open until next year. Once operational, the event venue will bring some of the hottest acts to Oklahoma.
Although the Hard Rock will not officially open until Monday, the Center Bar has already been opened for business. It has given customers a glimpse of what they can expect when the rest of the resort opens next week.
