Parents Gambling on Lottery For Hannah Montana Concert Tickets

Hannah Montana, a.k.a., Miles Cyrus, is experiencing the kind of fame that has been reserved for names such as Monroe and Madonna. The phenomenon has reached that kind of epic proportions.

Parents, this year, have been on the giving end of this money train. Billy Ray Cyrus has produced a child that is more popular than himself, not an easy accomplishment.

The "Best of Both Worlds" tour has sold out in every city in record time. That has left parents frantic, and entering in lotteries to have the chance to obtain tickets.

In an age that has seen lotteries for concert tickets diminish, it is a testament to how popular Montana is that many cities are holding these lotteries for a chance at the tickets.

In a recent lottery in a Macy's, where tickets are sold through a Ticketmaster machine, 150 people were issued numbers for a lottery. When tickets went on sale, only fifteen of those 150 received tickets. The show sold out in four minutes.

Many parents will do anything to ensure their children get into the concert. Some parents have spent upwards of $2000 a ticket from ticket agents.

As is the case with any teen sensation, the Montana craze will fade away, but until it does, let the lottery balls keep rolling, and hopefully, your child will yell BINGO!
