Pinnacle Will Spend $80 Million More On St. Louis Casino Complex
Casino operator Pinnacle Entertainment says it will raise the budget for its casino resort in downtown St. Louis to $430 million from its earlier price of $350 million. Las Vegas-based Pinnacle says costs increased because of higher construction material costs and additions to the project. The new Pinnacle casino is expected to open next year and will feature 200 hotel rooms and cover 18 acres in the Laclede's Landing area north of the Gateway Arch. The increased budget will be used in part to add a nightclub, retail stores and more parking at the site.
