Players Club Members Receive Big Rewards From Gila River Casinos

The Lone Butte Casino in Arizona will be trying to compete with Harrah's Ah-Chin Casino when it re-opens at the end of the year. In order to do that, the casino is trying to lure gamblers with higher perks.

Players club rewards will grow at the end of the year when the casino reopens. Gila River Casinos has announced that while the casino has been closed, they have still been working on improved comps for players club members.

Gila has already spent $2.5 million launching the new players club rewards. They will be giving away show tickets, complimentary meals, monthly gifts, and free valet parking to those who are among the casino's best players.

"Our goal is to get people here just one more time. If people are coming once a month, we want them here twice a month," said John Straus, General Manager of Gila River's Wild Horse Pass Casino.

There are advantages to joining the players club even if a gambler is not what is considered a high roller. Annual gifts are given away on people's birthdays no matter whether the player gambles all the time or only once.

The system is set up in tiers depending on how much points a player accumulates. The higher the tier, the more lucrative the awards. The top tier is over 15,000 points. People who reach that level will receive free concert and sporting event tickets. Priority valet and restaurant service also is included in the top tier.
