Poker And Other Card Games The Main Draw at Arizona Casino Opening
Arizona is relatively new to the casino gambling scene. Their latest casino resort is drawing rave reviews. The main draw, however, is not the glitz and glamour it brings, but the card games being played.
The Desert Diamond Casino Hotel has finally been introduced to the public. The casino held its grand opening last night and the early returns bring high marks from patrons.
The resort is equipped with suites that carry a wet bar and an in room whirlpool. 148 rooms are offered in the hotel. Various restaurants are also available for anyone looking to get something good to eat. A night club is also on the premises.
The main draw, however, is still the gambling. The casino boasts almost 1,000 slot machines. On the card playing side of things, twenty poker tables are available. Blackjack is the main attraction. There are thirty two tables.
"I like the roominess about the casino, i enjoy playing blackjack and the casino makes it very convenient and comfortable for me to enjoy playing," said Tom Brownsky, a resident of San Diego who was in town on business and attended the grand opening.
The casino resort has been a long time coming. It has taken four years to complete the project. It cost $125 million to be built, but has been worth the wait. Local residents have also been excited because the project has brought an additional 400 jobs to the area.
