Riverwind Casino Grand Opening Draws Anxious Gamblers
What more can you ask for on the border of North Texas and Oklahoma than a brand new 219,000 square foot gambling casino with 2200 games, 72 blackjack and poker tables, and fine dining, drinks and entertainment? That's the first question that came to our mind, too.
Hundreds of patrons and curious onlookers streamed in to try their luck at gaming or just take a look at the state's largest casino during its grand opening.
"It's unbelievable," Marty Hall of Dallas said about the Chickasaw Nation's Riverwind Casino, off Interstate 35 just south of Norman, Oklahoma.
I can stay right here."
According to the report, the new gambling facility sits on 15 acres and employs more than 1,800 people.
