Seminole Hard Rock Casino In Tampa, Florida Unveils Vegas Slots

The Seminole tribe in Florida is creating quite a dynasty with their casinos in Florida. A recent compact with Governor Charlie Crist has allowed the Seminoles to offer Vegas style slots at their casinos.

On Thursday, the Hard Rock casino in Tampa will follow the lead of their East Coast casinos, by unveiling the Vegas style slots to the public.

Patrons will be happy with the new slots, if results from casinos in Coconut Creek and Hollywood are any indication. People are flocking to the new gaming machines.

"These machines are much better than their old machines. You don't have to feel like you're playing bingo with the new machines, they are much more exciting," said Roger Thompson, a slots player from the Hard Rock in Hollywood.

In Tampa, the casino hopes that by July, they will have 2,000 Vegas style slots operating. With each passing month until then, the casino will be integrating the new machines on the gaming floor.

Another part of the compact will be unveiled sometime in the fall. Blackjack and baccarat were also approved by the Governor as part of the compact. All of the Seminole Florida casinos are preparing for the new table games.
