Seminoles Gamble On Lower Limits For Blackjack In Florida

USA Players Accepted at Rome Casino!

The Seminole Indians knew they had a gold mine on their hands when they began to offer blackjack at their Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. They did what any casino would do, and came out of the gate with high table limits.

At first, there were no tables at the casino offering anything less than twenty-five dollars a hand blackjack. As time has progressed, however, the Seminoles have understood the need for lower tables.

Over the past month, gamblers at the Seminole Casino can find a new limit at these tables. The Seminoles now offer $10 a hand tables, and they filled with happy customers that have been waiting for the lower limits.

"I love the game of blackjack, but there is no way I could afford playing at $25 and $50 a hand," said patron Fred Verster, "now I go a couple of times a week and try my luck on the $10 tables. My money just lasts longer and I can stay on the bale for longer periods of time."

There had been a public outcry for the lower limit tables. The economy has caused many casinos around the country to consider the limits they are offering, and after that consideration, limits have been dropped.

"People can't afford to play at the high limits and as casinos we need to recognize that," said Billy Reklin, who was speaking on behalf of a well known Las Vegas casino, "we have to change with the times just like any other industry."

Las Vegas, in particular, has been hit hard by the economy. Macau has passed Sin City as the gambling capital of the world, and Las Vegas companies have been among the hardest hit with the stock market collapse.
