Seneca Indian Tribe Fights for Casino Gambling

Voted Top Online Casino Several Years in a Row!

The Seneca Indian Tribe in New York is fighting to keep their bid for a new gambling casino in Buffalo alive.

The Seneca Indian Tribe is asking asking a federal court to dismiss the lawsuit because it doesn't name the tribe or the state. The Native American tribe insists both parties are essential to any action related to the new gambling casino.

A group so-called 'Citizens Against Casino Gambling in Erie County' are the originators of the gambling suit. They are targeting a past agreement between the Senecas and New York state on the location of Indian gambling casinos.

The tribe made their opposition known in a brief filed in the United States District Court one week ago. The next hearing on the lawsuit is scheduled for next November. The Senecas already run two gambling casinos in Niagara Falls and on their reservation in Salamanca.
