SkyCity Brings New Management Team To Poker Tournament
SkyCity Entertainment Group has done much reshuffling of their management team. The new team will be bringing what they are calling the biggest poker tournament ever to their casino in New Zealand next month.
The last six months have been the most difficult of times for the company. They have completely changed their management from the old guard to the new. The old guard had received criticism of not keeping a handle on former Chief Executive Evan Davies.
Nigel Morrison has been brought on to be the new Chief Executive back in March. He brought with him a whole new wave of change in a company that needed some life.
The only two members of the executive team that have been there longer than Morrison are Chief Financial Officer Alistair Ryan and Darwin General Manager Andrew Wilson. That means that everyone else is less than six months with the company.
Two new members of the board will take their positions on October 31st. That is the date that the existing board members, Bill Trotter and Patsy Reddy will step down. The new board members are Chris Moller and Brent Harman.
