Sunny Santa arrived at the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale beach, Florida, on Saturday, and his presence has created much interest in the days to come. The casino is offering up the twelve days of give-aways promotion.
Saturday marked day one of the twelve days, and if it is a sign of what is to come, then there should be many patrons coming through the doors of Mardi Gras over the next couple of weeks. The holiday season is a time when all casinos look to run promotions, but Mardi Gras is leading the pack in South Florida.
The next eleven days will bring many give-aways to the casino. There is a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a Ford F-150, ipods, watches, TV's, and other electronics all being given away during the promotion.
The drawings for the give-aways occurred on Saturday at 9PM and 10PM. Over the rest of the twelve days, the drawings will be at 8PM and 9PM. Cash prizes will be given away as part of the promotion as well, with denominations of $1,000, $2,000, $5,000, and $10,000 all up for grabs throughout.
"This is one of the top events of the year at any South Florida casino," said Gaming Analyst Steve Schwartz, "Mardi Gras is sparing no expense to ensure that their customers are rewarded for their continued support."
