Topless Club In Nevada Left In Limbo On Gambling Expansion
Topless girls and gambling seem like a mix that should have been put together a long time ago. The problem is the Nevada Gaming Control Board is not sure they want the two to exist in the same establishment.
Gambling and strip clubs are both big draws in Nevada. The state has built a tourism business out of the two, but that does not necessarily mean that the powers that be in the state believe the two should be offered together.
The Topless Girls of Glitter Gulch club is trying to bring girls and gambling together. They have asked for the right to operate fifteen slot machines at their club. The Gaming Control Board has said, well, maybe.
The Control Board sent three of its members who were prepared to deny the request to a meeting in Las Vegas. Instead, the Control Board has decided to put the decision back in the hands of their investigative staff on the application.
The Granite Gaming Group owns the club. They also own two casinos, and they have decided that bringing their two businesses together would be profitable.
The Board members were ready to deny the application because they did not feel that the location was a good location for gambling.
