Wynn Macau Casino Expanding, Shooting For 2010 Finishing Date

Wynn Macau casino is one of the destinations that has made the island the number one gambling area in the world. The island is further expanding, making it hard for anyplace that will try and compete with Macau.

Wynn Macau has announced that it too, will be expanding. The casino floor will be made bigger, to accommodate the influx of people to the area.

A new lobby will be added to the current gambling complex. The 1,190 slot machines and 390 tables are apparently not enough to handle the demand. New tables and slots will be added as part of the expansion.

All of Macau is experiencing the wave that has made the island bigger than Las Vegas in terms of gambling revenue. Just last month, Wynn Resorts revealed that the Macau destination had surpassed its casino in Las Vegas in revenue.

By the end of 2008, it is expected that two VIP rooms would be added to the casino. the rest of the renovations and expansion should be done by 2010. That is also the time the company will open the Diamond Suite Towers.

The total money spent on the additions and renovations is estimated to be more than the whole original complex cost to be built.
