BetonSports Defendants Plead Not Guilty
A federal judge extended her order banning BetonSports from taking sports gambling wagers from US customers.
Meanwhile, at their hearing, all 7 of the BetonSports defendants plead not guilty to the federal changes they are faced with.
Prosecutors suggested the extension until August 14th while they answer questions posed by US District Judge Carol Jackson concerning whether the online bookmaker was served with the charges correctly at its offices in Britain and Costa Rica.
The US attorney in St. Louis had asked the judge to make the ban on U.S. bets permanent. Bet on Sports has complied with the order mandated by the federal judge so far.
