Two men were arrested last week and the filing of the charges came down on Tuesday. The two men, Samuel Volpenesto and Mark Polchan, are accused of blowing up a gambling operation back in 2003 in Berwyn, Illinois.

The bombing took place at the orders of the mob who was running a $13 million video gambling operation of their own. they were not happy with the competition, so they asked the two men to blow it up.

C & S Coin Operated Amusements had its ceiling and wood frame above the doorway and windows destroyed when the two men allegedly tried to blow the place up with a bombing device.

"Disturbingly, the investigation has revealed that Polchan used his connections not only with the Outlaws and the Outfit, but also with various corrupt police officers, to advance his and his associates' criminal objectives," wrote prosecutors.

Volpendesto has a history with explosives. He has admitted on recordings that he took part in previous explosions. Prosecutors claim to have tapes of both men speaking about the bombing in 2003.

Polchan is a member of the Outlaws biker gang. He has been linked to the mob in the past and reportedly coerced a witness to change his story in a murder case. The two men face thirty five years to life in prison if convicted.
