Carruthers Transferred Still Detained After Quick Hearing
At a brief hearing this morning, U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Bleil ordered CEO of BetOnSports.com, David Carruthers, who was arrested last week in a Texas airport, to be transferred to the Missouri district, where a federal grand jury issued an indictment charging 11 individuals and four corporations with racketeering, conspiracy and fraud.
Today's court appearance by Carruthers was anxiously awaited by specators since his arrest last week, however, it was an anti-climactic day.
