The state of Colorado and their casinos are in the midst of what could be a groundbreaking casino movement for their tourism industry. Central City became the latest area to vote in favor of expanding both casino hours and wagering limits.

They did not stop there, either. Craps and roulette will be coming to casinos as well. Residents of Central City voted overwhelmingly for the casino changes, which will go into effect in July.

Ninety three percent of the people who voted did so in favor of following the lead of some other areas of Colorado. Cripple Creek and Black Hawk voters have already said yes to raising betting limits from $5 to $100.

The state of Colorado already has its beauty and a booming skiing industry. the addition of Vegas style casino tables games and expanded limits could make the state one of the more attractive for vacationers.

The expanded hours for the states casino will help the casinos maintain customers. people will no longer have to leave, and with the expanded limits, the casinos can now more aggressively go after the high rollers.

The casino expansion began back in the November election in Colorado and has since blossomed with each passing month. In Central City, 212 people voted for the casino measure as opposed to sixteen that voted against it.
