Couple Turns Themselves in on Gambling Charges
A husband and wife accused of operating illegal gambling machines turned themselves into police Thursday. The couple says their business was legit. "My understanding is I'm being charged because I'm married to Ricky.
That makes me guilty by association," says Annette Graveman. Cullman County Deputies and Cullman Police pulled sweepstakes machines from the cafe, and loaded them into the back of a truck. "It's upsetting. If they find his machines are illegal, I think they should proceed there.
I think what they did is not right," says Annette GravemanShe believes the competition turned their business into police. Now she and her husband could face jail time for something she says she had nothing to do with.
