There is no boundaries when it comes to video gambling in the US. While many states are expanding their gambling laws, others are going after illegal gambling operations.

The latest bust took place in New Hampshire, where restaurateur Michael Lupo is facing criminal charges related to gambling. He is the owner of Lupo's Seafood and Grille, and the video poker machines were inside the establishment.

In the past couple of months, there have been many raids around the US. Most of raids involved convenience stores or specifically set up locations for video gambling. New Hampshire authorities have just got into the act this week.

"The police have made it clear in almost every state that this illegal video gambling will not be tolerated," said Gaming Analyst Steve Schwartz, "Especially now with their own interests to protect, states will be more apt to go after these operations."

Schwartz was referring to the number of states that have added casino gambling as a way of supplementing budget deficiencies. States that have long been opposed to casino gambling, such as Ohio, have had voters change their stance in the past couple of years.

Lupo was served with a search warrant for both his residence and the restaurant. Police claim the investigation into the illegal gambling activity has been ongoing for several months.
