Lottery's TouchPlay Companies Owe State Millions in Revenue

Voted Top Online Casino Several Years in a Row!

Find information on more than 3,200 locations across the state where TouchPlay machines were installed and find out how much money was wagered, how much was paid out, and how much revenue was generated from each location before the Legislature shut down the machines.

The state has yet to receive all of its share of profits from the Iowa Lottery's TouchPlay program roughly a month after a new law forced the removal of the games from Main Street businesses across the state. Twenty-two of the more than 80 companies that owned the slot machine like games in places such as grocery stores, neighborhood bars and convenience stores have not paid the state their share of the revenue.

"We're meeting with (the state attorney general's office) to discuss the possibilities of what can be done about the situation. We haven't reached any final decisions," said Mary Neubauer, a vice president for the Iowa Lottery. "We are just in the initial discussion phase. "TouchPlay machine owner Larry Elbert declined to discuss the reasons his company, Camden Inc., still owes the lottery about $500,000.
