Aces Wired has felt all along that they have been doing the right thing by the law. They have several gaming centers where they have not handed out cash prizes, and they thought they were abiding by the law with the way they were rewarding winners.

Authorities in the state of Texas are thinking differently. They believe that the Aces Wired gaming centers are in violation of the law. Not only do they believe there was illegal gambling taking place, but also organized crime.

This week twenty two indictments have been handed down in Tarrant County. Another nine indictments were also issued in Bexar County. Some of the indictments in the two counties were issued to the same suspects.

Kenneth Griffith, the CEO of Aces Wired, and Gordon Graves, the president of the company's board, were both indicted in Bexar and Terrant Counties. The charges ranged from tampering with evidence to engaging in organized crime.

"The Company studied applicable state and federal law, Attorney General Opinions, appellate court decisions, and complaints of law enforcement, all to stay within the law. This is a publicly traded company governed by law abiding business leaders,' said the company's attorney, Paul Coggins.

Aces Wired would pay their customers in prize points that would be held on cards that looked like credit cards. Players could then redeem the cards at certain retailers for prizes.
