Twin River Moving To Twenty-Four Hour Gambling Next Week

Lawmakers in the state of Rhode Island have given Twin River the right to offer twenty-four hour gambling. It did not take long for the gambling establishment to take lawmakers up on that offer.
On Monday, Twin River announced that they would be moving to the around the clock gambling next week, on Thursday, November 19th. they are hoping the expanded gambling will help increase revenue at the struggling casino.
Twin River is a big part of Rhode island. The slot parlor is the third largest source of income for the state, so it has become imperative that lawmakers find ways to help the casino. The extended hours should help the company emerge from bankruptcy.
The expanded gambling hours were part of a reorganization plan from Twin River. Governor Don Carcieri signed off on the deal, and his administration is continuing to look at other ways that Twin River can be helped out.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to operate a casino these days in the US. Gambling expansion is taking place in nearly every state, and existing casinos have been hurt by the influx of new casinos.
Twin River had already been running around the clock gambling on weekends and holidays. Now, they will go to twenty-four hour gambling for all seven days in the week.
