Bingo.com Encouraged By Revenue Growth In Second Quarter
Bingo is an old game, but it is a relatively new industry online. While still waiting for that explosion of customers that online poker has enjoyed, bingo is slowly growing in popularity.
Bingo.com has released their second quarter figures and they look promising on all fronts. Revenue has increased as has customer sign ups over the first quarter.
The second quarter of this year has brought a revenue figure of $1,415,858. That is a five percent increase over the first quarter figure of $1,344,347. The company also had their net loss drop in quarter two.
"We acquired thousands of new real money players, increased our revenues, decreased our net loss, and further developed the entertainment available at Bingo.com," said CEO Tarnie Williams.
The company, while happy with the results, is still focused on expanding their operation. They are trying to break into the UK market, an important one for future revenue increase. They have not yet, however, secured a license to operate in the UK.
Sales and marketing efforts have been turned up by the company which has resulted in operating costs that were nine percent higher than quarter one.
