Bodog Looking To Expand Operation Through Gambling License in The UK

Bodog has been adamant about the fact that they are doing nothing wrong by taking bets from U.S. customers. They are one of the only online companies that are still dealing with U.S. customers.
They are now trying to branch out their operation. The company has applied for remote casino and general betting licenses in the UK. They claim that the licenses may not even be used to take bets from the British.
While their application is still pending, there are a couple of hurdles that still need to be cleared. The company must pass a "fit and proper operator" test. Once they pass that, they will be on their way towards their goal of receiving the license.
The company has licenses in several different countries already. Antigua is one of the places where Bodog has a license. The company's founder, Calvin Ayre, claims that while he takes bets from U.S. customers, the operation does not take place in North America.
Currently, the company is going after clients in Europe. They are trying to dominate that market. By receiving the British license, it will make it easier to reach their target market in Europe.
