Cryptologic Sells Online Casino Software To Holland Casino
CryptoLogic Inc., a Canadian software provider and publicly traded company, has announced a three-year contract to provide online gambling software to Holland Casino, an operator in the Netherlands.
The new site is expected to launch in June and will be available only to residents of the Netherlands.
The Cryptologic software was the most famous online gaming software in the world before the United States passed the UIGEA, which resulted in Cryptologic using online casinos to leave the US market. The software features the most sophisticated online slots anywhere in the world. They are famous for bringing Marvel comic characters to the gaming world.
Financial details of the licensing agreement were not disclosed Friday about the deal between Cryptologic and Holland casino..
"By adding a government-controlled casino operator to our blue-chip roster of customers, we have an excellent template for other governments interested in realizing the benefits of safe, secure and regulated Internet gaming," stated CryptoLogic CEO Lewis Rose.
Holland Casino, which operates 14 casinos, now is launching an online gambling site described as including "a comprehensive responsible gaming program."
Now that governments around the world are regulating online gambling, the requirements for running a site are becoming more strict and in a form of premeditated compliance sites like Holland casino are emphasising responsible gaming by implementing plans to combat problems.
