eCogra Regulates Online Casino Group Jackpot Factory
A sign that Internet gambling regulation actually does exist, despite what the US government wants its citizens to believe, was revealed today as Jackpot Factory, a Microgaming group of casinos, had its 'Play it Safe' seals suspended by eCogra, an independent online casino regulation company.
Not all circumstances were revealed by eCogra, but it is believed that Jackpot Factory casinos were involved with unacceptable search engine optimization techniques.
As a result of the illegitimate campaigns eCogra has ordered Jackpot Factory to remove all 'Seal of Safety' seals from their casinos for a probationary period of time.
In response, Jackpot Factory executives have corrected the situation by stopping the campaigns. Executives have apologized profusely and explained that the employees responsible for the campaigns were reprimanded. As a sign of good faith the Jackpot Factory has made a voluntary donation of $25,000 to GamCare.
eCogra promises to continually review the sitation. They will give the seals back to the Jackpot Factory group of casinos once they believe all situations have been fully resolved and once they have faith that Jackpot Factory is on the up and up.
For visitors to online casinos, it is important to note that a casino has the seal of safety before playing or depositing money. This is just one way to be sure you are playing at an approved and respected online casino.
