Online Gambling Crowns First European Bingo Champion

Online bingo is becoming to the online gambling community what poker was a few years ago. The game of bingo is gaining extreme popularity in the online world, and could become the next big online phenomenon.

The first ever European Bingo Championship has ended, and a man from Notts has taken home the inaugural crown. Robert Robinson emerged as the winner of the first ever event.

Robinson beat out thousands of online gamblers to win the championship. He was overjoyed with his winning the tournament. He had to show great patience to eventually win.

"I can't believe it. I've never won anything as big as this before. It took me two hours solid to slug it out and qualify for the final but it was well worth it. I'm glad England weren't in Euro 2008 now or I might not have entered and won the car," said Robinson.

The car he was referring to was the grand prize for the tournament. He won a Chevrolet Aveo for winning the tournament. The event was sponsored by Paddy Power.

With online bingo gambling a growing field, there are already plans in the works for more tournaments such as this one. Many companies are opening websites devoted to bingo gambling, so the potential for big tournaments is growing.
