Roxy Palace Online Casino No Longer Accepts US Players

Roxy Palace is a Microgaming software powered online casino that has become famous throughout the years as the best provider of high quality online casino games. Earlier this week they sent a letter to affiliates announcing that on June 1st they will no longer be accepting bets from US players.

"The contribution of bets from US players currently comprises an insignificant amount to (Roxy Palace) and most affiliates have low exposure to that market," it said in the Roxy Palace affiliate newsletter.

It was not the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act that was passed in the US in October that hurt the US facing side of Roxy Palace, but rather it was when Neteller was forced out of the market that the company lost most of its US business. Neteller was the payment processor that most Americans knew how to utilize for online gambling and when they exited the market, so did the many US casino players.

Roxy Palace decided to focus its energies starting June 1, 2007 on non-US players, saying in the letter it sent out to affiliates that it plans on featuring the new multi-language software platform that Microgaming offers on its casino brand.

The leave from the US market is a huge disappointment to US online casino fans because Roxy Palace was one of the most beloved online casinos in the market. They featured a monthly newsletter that was one of the few that most players did not delete, the only that players actually looked forward to because of the beautifully designed, high quality information it featured.
