Slotland.com Breaks Record With Third Major Jackpot Win

Slotland.com is developing quite a reputation when it comes to their players winning jackpots. The site paid out a major progressive jackpot for the third consecutive month and has now broken records for Autumn jackpot wins.

On October 23rd the latest of three jackpots that were larger than $100,000 was paid. MINEOMINE was the lucky winner on a Golden 8 slot machine. The player won $134,253.

Once the slot jackpot is won, it resets to $50,000. The jackpots on Slotland.com had been building for almost the entire summer. Then, in August $168,947 was won on the Treasure Box, and the following month $108,060 was won on a Jacks or Better Video Slot.

The jackpots on the site grow similarly to the way they do in land based casinos. Every player has an option of how much they will wager. The more they wager, the more they can win in the jackpot.

The progressive jackpots also mean that every time a player plays a particular jackpot, it grows. It continues to grow until someone is lucky enough to win, then it starts over.

"The size of the jackpot depends entirely on how many people add a little extra to their wager. Some players do it every wager, others only do it if they feel particularly lucky," said Ondrej Tuma of Slotland.
