Many poker players will be entering Sin City for the first time over the next few weeks for the World Series of Poker. With the tournaments ready to begin in less than twenty four hours, there is just enough time to let the rookies know what to look for in Las Vegas.

The majority of the time that card players will be in Las Vegas over the next few weeks will be spent at the card tables at the Rio. That is where the WSOP action will be taking place. In between tournaments, travelers will need to know the hot spots to hit.

We here at CGW have put together a list of must do's while in Las Vegas. The buffets in Las Vegas are world renowned, but for someone looking for a fine dining experience, the Steakhouse at the All American Cafe at the Rio is the place to be.

If you can get by the front room, which is where you will find the burgers, you will find the back room, which is where the steakhouse is located. If beef is your food of choice, be sure to try the ribeye on the bone, French style. You won't be disappointed.

If live shows are your fancy, the Mirage has the best one around. They are currently holding performances of the Beatles, 'Love' Cirque du Soleil style. The show has received rave reviews from critics, and is sure to leave you in awe.

If star gazing is your choice for fun, be sure to head across the street from the Rio, to the Palms. This is where you will find the Playboy Club. Many a celebrity can be seen at various times at the Palms, and with the WSOP taking place, the Palms is sure to be the place to be.

If you are looking for a laid back night out with the locals, check out Gold Coast. No matter what your style, Las Vegas will have something for you. Bring lots of money, and hopefully, get lucky and win a tournament or two, but most importantly, enjoy your visit to Las Vegas.
